Faith Hill was born on September 21, 1967, in Jackson, Mississippi. When
Faith was a little kid she used to sing on family meetings, in churches and
rodeos. At the age of 19 she decided to try her strength against other
young talents on a Nashville stage from where all country singers start
their careers. Success didnt come easy though. Faith sold T-shirts
before getting a job as a receptionist at a record company. David Chase
heard her singing by accident and invited her to record something in the
studio where the song It Scares Me was born. Fate took Faith straight
to the Bluebird Cafe where she met the composer Gary Burr, who started
playing with her having heard her voice. They had been playing together
until the day Martha Sharp from Warner Bros asked her to make a demo. Faith
Hills debut album Take Me As I Am has sold more than 2 million copies
and won for its author the Academy of Country Music's Top New Female Artist
Award. Faith started touring with singers such as Reba McEntire, Brooks &
Dunn, Alan Jackson and George Strait. In 1996 she sung more than 140 times
with Tim McGraw on a tour that was pronounced one of the best for the year.
Subsequently Faith married Tim McGraw. They have two beautiful daughters
Gracie and Maggie. After a short break due to pregnancy Faith returned to
the stage in 1998 with her third album simply titled Faith. The single
This Kiss has sold over 3 million copies and won this time not one,
but five Academy of Country Music Awards. Faith Hill is comparable but not
equal to Cher, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner. Shes turned from an
ordinary talent from Mississippi to country musics superstar. |
Country singer Faith Hill will make her film debut in Stepford Wives, in which she partners with Nicole Kidman, Bette Midler and Glenn Close. She was a little nervous now that she was going to rehearse with such celebrities. She wasn't prepared either for a scene in which she reaches orgasm standing at the same table with them
14 June 2004 Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Al Pacino, Julianne Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Celine Dion, Sigourney Weaver, Helen Hunt, Jessica Lange, Charlize Theron, Faith Hill, Shaquille O'Neal, Benicio Del Toro and Muhammad Ali are part of the celebrities invited at a party at the Beverly Hills' Regent Beverly Wilshire, whose motto is Time To Give. |
