Patricia Arquette was given birth to on April 8th, 1968, Chicago, Illinois. Her family abounds in artists: her grandfather is the notorious Charley Weaver, a
comic actor. Her father is a humorist too.
For this reason, it's not surprising that Patricia decides to dive into the acting world too. At 15 she moves to L.A. Patricia takes lessons from Milton Katselas and plays a leading role in the films Pretty Smart(1986) and Daddy (1987). She draws the public attention by taking part in the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors(1987). The young actress also performs in the TV series Outsiders and Tales from the Crypt.
In 1989 Patricia btings into the world a son of the musician Paul Rossi. A year later, she wins the leading role in the The Boy with the Crazy Brother.
Over the following years she films Indian Runner. In 1991 Patricia wins CableAce Award for Best Actress in a Movie or Miniseries for her role in the film Wildflower. 1993 turns out to be the most rewarding year for the 25-year old actress. She appears in Trouble Bound, Inside Monkey Zetterland and wins the critic award for her role in Ethan Frome. She manages to resist the fame of such actors as Christopher Walken, Gary Oldman and Dennis Hopper in the movie True Romance. The following 1994 brings her more roles, including private appearances in TV films such as: Betrayed by Love, Holy Matrimony and the comedy Ed Wood. In 1995 sheappears in John Boorman's film Beyond Rangoon. Being 27, Patricia marries the actor Nicolas Cage.
In 1996 and 1997 she can be seen in the productions: Flirting with Disaster, The Secret Agent, as well as Nightwatch. The latter brings her an award for the double role. In 1999 Bringing Out the Dead, a Martin Scorsese's creation, features her remarkable appearance. A year later, she gets back to the comedy world. In 2003 the actress has another child, this time the father is Thomas Jane.
